Board denies Recreation District funding request
A request from Recreation District 1 that the Town of Franklinton set aside $150,000 to help fund a proposed recreation complex was voted down 3-1 by the Board of Aldermen during their meeting Tuesday in front of a standing-room-only crowd at Town Hall.
